The Beginning
You all may wonder how I was smart enough to get this blog spot going. Well . . . Tyler and Destiny dropped by this evening and it is always fun to watch Tyler get my computers linked, working together and at power speed. He sets up several new programs while cleaning off a lot of junk. My head starts spinning as I try to remember all that he has told me. Eventually he shuts it all off and says, "Okay, now you are on your own. Let's see if you understand what I just showed you what to do?" Prayer comes in real handy at these times. Anyway, my hope is that I can sort of journal the events of this family -- as I know them. For instance: Brian has now returned from Chicago and will leave for Alaska on Sunday. I feel he is on a mercy mission -- installing satellite dishes at a few churches who will, for the first time, receive conference without a month wait. Kat will go with him to the big island of Hawaii on the 24th. . . What a fun time I think we all had at Sarah's and Kyle's. It's just fun to get together. I was pretty tired and Brian had Mitch drive me home with them following to pick him up. When he wasn't busy driving he told me that Bingham High School is celebrating its 100th birthday and he must be the guy from the SBO's who has most of the responsibility for the three day celebration. What a great opportunity. There was a cute write up about the festivities in the DesNews today. . . Favorite TV Program: Tonight Channel 7 PBS was having its fund raiser and played Celine Dion's "A New Day" from her Las Vegas show. I was interested in the fact that Mia Michaels ("So You Think You Can Dance") was the choreographer. It was amazing!!! . . . I read Amanda's blog experience with the spider and I'm still crawling. Amanda, for some reason when I tried to run the girl hula hooping it bleached out the words on your blog. Do you know why? Love to all who read this!
